Mr. Woodward currently serves as Managing Member of Woodward-Apple Springs, LLC, owner of pipeline assets in Trinity and Angelina counties, Tx. Mr. Woodward also founded Woodward Marketing, LLC in 1985 , serving as its President until its sale to Atmos Energy in 2001. Mr. Woodward joined Atmos upon the sale serving as Senior VP responsible for all of Atmos’s non-regulated business until his retirement on April 1, 2006.

Mr. Spatz serves as Managing Director and is an original founder of XR Team. He has spent more than 30 years as a leader in the development of the directional drilling and horizontal well technologies and service operations around the world. From 1988 to 2000, he has held major service company executive management positions with Baroid Corporation, Dresser Industries and Halliburton for Sperry Sun Drilling Services and Security DBS as well as directional and horizontal well construction drilling and completion positions at the rig site earlier in his career. He was also President of Baroid’s Engineered Drilling Services division that still today holds some unchallenged efficiency records in the North Sea for BP. Earlier he was responsible for the development and introduction of the first steerable and stabilized single bend mud motor for Dyna-Drill in Alaska in the early 80’s. Between 2010 and 2013, he consulted for Platte River Equity, a mid-level private equity group. He is a 1978 graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Geology. He has four earlier patents focused on drilling and completion tools, as well as multiple patent applications and published patents with teammates here. He also initiated significant organizational wide process improvement innovations and has been a worldwide lecturer and author related to horizontal well technology.

Mr. Reese serves as Managing Director and is an original founder of XR Team. He has spent more than 40 years as a leader in the development of the PDC drill bit industry, which today drills 85-90% of the footage drilled around the world.

Mr. Reese serves as Managing Director and is an original founder of XR Team. He has spent more than 40 years as a leader in the development of the PDC drill bit industry, which today drills 85-90% of the footage drilled around the world.
From 1973 to 1985, Mr. Reese led the manufacturing business and was Vice President of Operations for Diamond Oilwell Drilling Co. During this period, he was one of the early innovators of PDC drill bits, in 1978 designing and manufacturing one of the first ever PDC core bit that was successfully tested with Arco in Seminole, Texas. In 1986, he was President and co-founder of Drilcore Diamond Products, which he later sold to Dresser Industries as the entry point for Security Rock Bit to the PDC drill bit market.
From 1986 to 1999 Mr. Reese was Global Manufacturing Manager for Security DBS with responsibilities for operations in the USA, Scotland, Belgium, Venezuela and Canada.
In 1999, he joined Varel Rock Bit as a management shareholder and Vice President, forming their PDC Drill Bit Business Unit. In this role, he built manufacturing and technology facilities in the USA, Europe and Russia that led Varel to becoming the largest independent global provider of drill bits.
Mr. Reese retired from Varel in 2011 and consulted for them until 2014 when Sandvik AB, of Sweden successfully acquired Varel. He has participated in 25 patents related to drilling and bearing technologies and one SPE publication.

Mr. Prevost has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M graduating in 2006. He hired onto the Hughes Christensen Company, now Baker Hughes Drill Bits, as a PDC bit designer immediately after graduating. During his six years at Baker Hughes, he developed innovative processes and methods for manufacturing, designing, and analyzing PDC drill bits as well as developing custom software to automate time consuming engineering functions.
CNC Machining technology has always been of great interest to Mr. Prevost, so in 2012 he joined American Valmark, a machine shop in Austin, TX. During this period, he quickly became an accomplished machinist programming both CNC mills and lathes for prototype and production parts. After a three year manufacturing sabbatical, he hired on with XR Team, tasked with analyzing the current landscape of directional drilling technologies and contributing innovative designs that has now expanded the company’s IP portfolio.
From this body of work, XR Team has been able to gain new insights into directional drilling performance of different drilling assemblies, permitting a paradigm shift in drilling tool technology that is unique in the industry.
Mr. Prevost has been instrumental in the developments of DiaGlide technologies.

Mr. King is a fully engaged consultant with XR Team focused on intellectual property and business strategy. He transitioned through primary manufacturing jobs with Jones & Laughlin Steel, Caterpillar, E-Systems, and Christensen Diamond. In 1984 he took a position as a PDC bit designer with Hughes Diamond Products. Over the following 6 years, Bill managed product development for this unit of Hughes traveling throughout Europe, Australia, Japan and Southeast Asia.
Bill went into international sales with Security DBS and in the mid-90s took a role in marketing and intellectual property for Security DBS. This role continued through the Halliburton acquisition of Dresser.
Bill took a similar role at Varel International in 2007, retiring from Varel in 2015.
Bill has been engaged with XR Team since 2017. He is the inventor or a co-inventor on more than 30 US patents.

Although she has worked for public companies including Devon Energy and EOG Resources, her passion is helping privately held companies attain their financial goals. One of her biggest achievements was her role on the management team that lead Leor Energy to a multi-billion dollar monetization with Encana.
When not pursuing her professional interests, Theresa enjoys country living, time with her family (especially first grandchild), and Aggie football.
