Mr. Murray retired as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Dresser, Inc. in May, 2007. Dresser is a leading manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered equipment for the energy industry. Previously, Mr. Murray was President of Halliburton Company’s Dresser Equipment Group from 1998 to 2000 and Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives of Dresser Industries, Inc. in 1997.
Before becoming Senior Vice President in 1997, Mr. Murray was Vice President, Operations and responsible for Dresser’s Drilling and Production business. From 1988 through 1996 he served as President, Sperry-Sun Drilling Services. Sperry-Sun is a leading directional drilling and measurement-while-drilling services company and was acquired by Dresser Industries in 1994.
When Mr. Murray joined NL Industries, Inc. in 1973 as a Systems Application Consultant, he served in a variety of increasingly responsible management positions. He was Vice President and Controller of Sperry-Sun from 1982 – 1986, Group Controller from 1986 – 1987, Director of Management Information Systems in 1987 and Controller of NL Industries, Inc. from 1987 – 1988.
Mr. Murray holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hall University. He served for two years in the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer.
Mr. Murray is on Board of Advisors to the Maguire Energy Institute of the Cox School of Business at SMU, the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, and Chairman of the Board of Regents of Seton Hall University. He has previously been a Senior advisor to White Deer Energy, a private equity firm in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Hall serves as Chairman of the Board of Archrock, Inc. (NYSE:AROC), the leading natural gas compression services company in the U.S., and as Treasurer, chairman of the finance committee, and a member of the executive board of Gordon College where he has been a professor in the Master of Science in Financial Analysis

Mr. Hall served as a director of Noble Corporation plc (2010-2021), Weatherford International plc (2019-2020), Select Energy Services (2012-2015), Grant Prideco (2007-2008), Hydril Company (2002-2007), and at predecessor companies to Archrock as Vice Chairman of the Board (2013-2015) and as Chairman of the Board (2007-2013) of Exterran Holdings, Inc., and as Chairman of the Board (2005-2007) of Hanover Compressor Company. He retired as Managing Director of Credit Suisse in 2002 after fifteen years with the investment bank. Prior to his retirement Mr. Hall was the Senior Oil Field Services Analyst, Co-head of global energy group, and Houston Equity branch office manager.
Mr. Hall has been involved in numerous nonprofit endeavors including economic, education, and community development programs in the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and Mexico. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Gordon College in 1981 and in 1987 his S.M. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management where he was a Charles Stark Draper Fellow.

Under Mr. Deere’s leadership Tolteq grew to become a leader in the independent MWD industry, selling its products to directional drilling companies across the globe.
In 2016, Tolteq was sold to National Oilwell Varco (NOV).
Paul Deere is a 1992 graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is very active in promoting entrepreneurship education at the high school and college level. He is a regular speaker for the engineering entrepreneurship program at Texas A&M University. Mr. Deere holds several patents and continues to develop new technologies.
